Posted by Editor on July 10, 2011

Scottsdale, Arizona (July 7, 2011) – A U.S. Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH) study, the first to examine care at critical access hospitals in rural areas, concludes that telemedicine could help them catch up in quality of care. The study appears in the Journal of the American Medical Association. The government definition for a critical care hospital is one with no more than 25 beds in a geographically remote area.

GlobalMedia Telemedicine Solutions already in use in many critical access hospitals.
